Project Manager

MMD Construction are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team in Cork. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of the project, adhering to budget, timeline, safety and quality standards.
The roles will include; Responsibility for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial.Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projectsDetermine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower neededManage quality control for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is managed correctlyEnsure material and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedulePrepare reports on Project Management SoftwareModify and update the project programme with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety LegislationEnsure compliance with BC(A)RCollaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project teamThe ideal candidate will have: Third Level Qualification in relevant Construction DisciplineBackground in engineering is desirable.Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar roleBackground in engineering is desirable.Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and programme in a holistic wayHave excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skillsCommitted to working as part of a team and progress career developmentBe motivated, organised and have excellent time management skillsProven ability to lead and manage teamsBe tech savy and have good computer skillsGood knowledge of construction material and processesBe able to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties***Competitive remuneration package*** Please submit CV and Cover Letter to ******
