Job DescriptionOur client is Cost Management & Project Management Consultancy who are currently expanding their business.They are seeking highly motivated Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with between 5-10 years client side / consultancy experience.You will be working as part of a well-established team, managing large scale construction projects, predominantly base-build and fit-out, in a variety of sectors such as commercial offices, residential,social housing, retail.The current workload is exciting, and you will be involved at all stages of a number of high profile projects.This is a great opportunity to build on your experience of the property/construction marketplace and to work on some highly prestigious projectsSupervise, control and resource projects to ensure successful execution of programmeEstablish the PEP, as well as on-going revisions to meet project objectivesOversee Consultant procurement and deployment within a public and private sector frameworkCoordinate the Development Budgets, with inputs from from the Project Team, for Client approvalAct as Employer's Agent for administration of consultants and appointmentsDevelop and facilitate effective communication between teamsProtect the Client's interests, under various procurement and contracting strategiesTake appropriate measures via VM/VE during the various stages of the project cycleMonitor and report on progress, cost and expenses of projects, with timely action(s) to prevent project and operational failuresIdentify and mitigate bottlenecks in the development of the design and construction processMonitor cost expenditures within the parameters of the Development BudgetChair and attend monthly programme level meetings and follow up on actions raisedClose-Out/Practical Completion of project and documentationFulfil all contractual commitments towards ClientsEstablish a professional and trusting relationship with the Client, in a manner that enhances client trust Overall delivery of projects, in compliance with the business and project management proceduresRequirementsDegree or Higher in Project Management / Construction Management / Civil or Structural Engineering/Quantity Surveying/ ArchitectureMember of Association of Project Management or Similar5 -10 Years Post Qualification ExperienceProject ManagementProcurement ManagementPublic Procurement - beneficialPublic Works ContractsProblem Identification and SolvingConstruction & Design Methodologies/ProcessesExcellent Time Management & Organisational SkillsEffective Leader with Ability to be Team PlayerExcellent Written and Spoken CommunicatorCompetent and Consistent Planner (MSProject and/or PowerProject)Microsoft Office SuiteReasoned Problem SolverGood Negotiator and InfluencerEstablishment and Management of BudgetsEffective Risk ManagementPackage€65k - €85k basic salary and negotiable dependent on experienceFull-time permanent staff role with great career prospects
