Role: Project Mechanical Engineer Location: Cork MSL Engineering Ltd. is a mechanical engineering contractor dedicated to delivering a service that incorporates the highest standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and reliability in interpreting and exceeding our clients' expectations.

Reporting to: Project Manager Must have full understanding of complete MSL scope of work.Responsible for managing the MSL team of area engineers, who manage specific construction areas on the project.Support Area Engineers as required, providing necessary technical backup to resolve engineering queries in the field.Work with MSL Construction Manager to monitor the construction schedule.Prioritize off-site pipe and support fabrication to follow the construction schedule.Onsite coordination between Mechanical and other disciplines.Weekly progress reporting to client and MSL Project Manager, coordinating Area Engineers' progress reporting.Weekly variation reporting, gathering information from area engineers for MSL QS/Cost Engineer.Monitor MSL Scope of Work and potential out-of-scope work on site.Ensure MSL supply equipment is ordered as required.Onsite coordination between Consultant/PSCS/CMT and Contractor.Coordinate project activity with the offsite fabrication team.Attend weekly progress meetings.Conduct safety audits and monitor safety performance on site.Work with MSL QA Lead to ensure piping systems are handed over to the client on schedule.Excellent knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential.Requirements:
Minimum 7 years mechanical experience with at least 2 years in a lead role.Relevant engineering degree.Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and products.Excellent communication and reporting skills.MSL Engineering is committed to ensuring our hiring process is fair and accessible to all.
