Project Resident Engineer (Site Supervision - Ireland)

AtkinsRéalis is one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.
We are seeking to recruit several Site Supervision Staff for a position within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on a number of capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors.
We are seeking a Project Resident Engineer with 15+ years' experience in Site Supervision activities.
Desirable skills/attributes: Experience in administrating Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.Knowledge and Awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.Chartered Engineer.Managing Safely in Construction Training.Enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible.Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.An excellent communicator, written and verbal in English.Responsibilities: Driving delivery of projects on site on behalf of client with a particular focus on health & safety, time for delivery, cost management, and ensuring that the project is constructed to the specified quality standard.Ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents.Ensuring that all materials and workmanship are executed in accordance with the applicable specifications and that required testing is carried out.Monitoring and reporting on works being carried out to the Employer's Requirements.Ensuring that the employer's representative, relevant project manager, and Uisce Éireann are fully informed of all issues arising on site.Implementing Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on the construction projects.Reviewing and commenting on project/site specific HSQE documentation.Monitoring compliance with contract health and safety requirements.Carrying out weekly documented health and safety site reviews and confirming satisfactory close out of health and safety issues.Ensuring that any accident or incident on site is reported to Uisce Éireann and actively assisting with the accident investigation.Actively participating in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections and confirming satisfactory close out of any issues identified.About Us: At AtkinsRéalis we put Environment, Sustainability, and Health & Safety at the heart of our business strategy.
