The Role Identification of opportunities for profitable growth and an understanding of market trends and developments. Providing valued insight and proposals for improved portfolio performance, including tactical actions to address emerging risks and challenges in an appropriate and timely manner. Provides technical underwriting expertise and guidance. Handles a range of queries and referrals within agreed authority limits. Assists with delivery of technical training programs and the support of mentoring activities. Contributes to the development of technical underwriting standards, controls, practices, and procedures. Control & maintenance of underwriting guidelines. Qualifications Requirements: Relevant professional designation (minimum CIP). 5+ Years of experience in General Commercial Insurance with a bias towards Property Insurance. Clear understanding of the property insurance markets. Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites, in particular, Excel. Must also demonstrate good interpersonal, organisational, and analytical skills. Ability to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail, and thrive in an environment that is always changing.
