Public Procurement Coordinator

My client an iconic Irish Public Transport Provider are on a journey of transformation, innovation, sustainability and growth.
They require an Public Procurement Coordinator to join their Procurement department based in Dublin City Centre This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, highly organized Procurement Team with excellent opportunities for career growth and development.
The Public Procurement Coordinator must have experience with Public Procurement, specifically having used eTenders.
Responsibilities: Assist with tender process from start to finish in line with EU Directives & CIE Policies and Procedures.
Evaluate Pre-Qualifications Questionnaires (PQQ).
Assist the Procurement Team to achieve value for money through tendering.
Assist with the timely and efficient awarding of contracts.
Assist with the development of a contract management plan.
Develop, build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Address and manage supplier issues to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Assist with the development of relevant KPIs to assist with analysis of costs and supplier performance.
Assist with the implementation of procurement change initiatives within category to improve business performance.
Liaise with Procurement & Materials team, Company management and staff.
Any other requirements set out by Procurement Manager.
Requirements Previous experience working with Public Procurement and level 6 qualification Proven administration skills and experience coupled with a strong interest in Public Procurement and a desire to develop a career in this area, is essential.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to liaise, influence, negotiate, challenge effectively and build relationships at various management levels and with suppliers.
Creative and innovative approach towards developing solutions to improve standards of service or reduce costs Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Experience in working with multi-disciplinary team members and stakeholders to facilitate high performance, developing, and achieving clear and realistic objectives Strong IT skills in the MS Office suite Customer service orientation Achievement through personal engagement Ability to meet deadlines, planning & implementation If you feel that you fulfil the above qualifications please apply today with your CV.
