The role is based in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Job Description The Purchasing Administrators responsibilities include sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific specifications, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance.
The Purchasing Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies.
To be successful in this role you should be able to develop efficient procurement solutions and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Ultimately, an outstanding Purchasing Administrator should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be an analytical thinker, and demonstrate a good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
Purchasing Responsibilities: Review and request approvals for all orders Request quotations from suppliers Follow up orders: confirm delivery dates, tracking numbers, customs Arrange collections/ deliveries to site/ office Review and evaluate suppliers on a continual basis Responsible for returns of damaged goods or goods under warranty.
Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepancies Project Administration Create new project listings Create monthly project claims Create invoices on Sage.
Attend Weekly projects meeting On off hire of MEWP Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Sage essential Strong negotiation skills.
