Job Description: Laboratory Analyst - LIMS We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst with expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and managing the content of Quality Control Laboratory Information Management Systems, working closely with both internal site teams and external digital partners. This role involves translating specifications and analytical methods into efficient, compliant LIMS/LES workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the content of Quality Control LIMS systems in collaboration with site teams and external digital teams.
Translate specifications and analytical methods into compliant, efficient, and effective LIMS/LES workflows.
Participate in the qualification and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures, specifications, and local analytical methods.
Document and report any errors or issues in compliance with established procedures and training.
Assist in training personnel and may be responsible for fully training other laboratory staff.
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of a BSc (Hons) degree in Analytical Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology) with at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong proficiency in building and utilizing Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS).
Solid understanding of quality control operations, with experience in techniques such as immunoassays, quantitative PCR, chromatography, and capillary electrophoresis.
Familiarity with various instrument platforms (e.g., Agilent, Beckman Coulter, Sciex, Molecular Devices, Applied Biosystems) and related software (e.g., SoftMax Pro, Empower, LIMS/LES systems).
Preferred Skills/Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong understanding of Data Integrity principles and their application in a digital laboratory environment.
High proficiency with computer systems and laboratory software.
Proven track record in implementing technological and process improvements in business systems and workflows.
