Qc Microbiologist

Planet Pharma is currently recruiting for a Microbiology Analyst to work onsite for a leading organisation inLimerick. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has circa 1 year experience working in a GMP environment who is looking to build up their skills and experience. Main responsibilities: Ability to work independently and meet set timelines. A strong team player who is both flexible and adaptable. Excellent communication both written and verbal. Self- motivated and ability to work under pressure. Must be motivated, focused and technically strong. GMP knowledge and understanding of the workings of an accredited microbiology laboratory. Water testing as per USP, EP - Surface Water, Portable Water, Water for Injection. Preservative Efficacy Testing of Pharmaceutical Products. Use of LIMS system for logging of samples. Environmental Monitoring of Cleanrooms. Microbial Limit Testing of Products and Active Ingredients (Sterile and Non-Sterile - TAMC, TYMC, Absence of Specific Organisms). Bioburden Testing. Qualifications Required: A third level qualification in Microbiology or equivalent field. 1 Years GMP Experience in a GMP Environment. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Good time management. Knowledge of aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills. The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Skills: GMP QC Microbiologist
