Your new job Key duties & responsibilities: Manage Lab Activities: Plan & assign work schedules to meet production. Team Development: Train & evaluate team members, set goals, & participate in hiring. Process Management: Develop and improve QC processes to meet current & future demands. Product Testing: Ensure timely and accurate testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Investigations and Solutions: Perform root cause analysis on product defects and recommend solutions. Documentation: Keep accurate records of testing and communicate results to relevant departments. Collaboration: Work closely with QC teams in the US to align testing methods and specifications. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist Testing: Help with product testing, including sensory evaluations when needed. Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships within the division and with other divisions. What are we looking for? Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in a science discipline. Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory/managerial experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry. Familiar with lab analytical equipment. Attention to detail & organizational skills. Strong knowledge of QC procedures, mathematics, data analysis, & statistics.
