Role Summary: We are looking for an amazing QHSE Officer to join our dynamic Business Excellence Team .
You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and improving QHSE management systems to support business operations in compliance with ISO standards, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll Do: In addition to the above, you'll focus on the following: Undertake QHSE audits internally and with suppliers or external providers/contractors, following the company's approved audit program.
Coordinate with departments to address preventive or corrective actions identified during inspections and monitor their timely closure.
Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the QHSE Manager.
Record QHSE key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly and issue reports as needed.
Suggest improvements to KPIs to enhance system performance and continuous improvement.
Foster a behavioural-based safety culture within the organization through safe job observations.
Conduct daily walkthroughs in facilities to monitor and promote workplace safety.
Actively participate in HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with the QHSE Manager.
Facilitate regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, and workshops.
Create and sign off on risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), ensuring compliance for ATEX work areas.
What You'll Need to be Successful: Ideally 3–5 years of experience working in an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) function.
Recognized EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) or a Level 8 Qualification in EH&S or a relevant discipline.
ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
Working knowledge of ATEX zones is essential.
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety legislation and its practical application in live environments.
Experience with digital document management systems is a distinct advantage.
