Quality Assurance Assistant Co Wexford Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Days Competitive Salary Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with one of Europe's leading food processors in their specialist field who have a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability.
Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in production processes, delivering exceptional products to both domestic and international markets.Reporting to the Quality Manager as a Quality Assurance Assistant/Technical Assistant your key duties will include:Monitoring product, processes, food safety and quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.Product inspections on all incoming product and ensure all produce meets the required specification for weight, temperature, etc.Communicate product quality with suppliers and site managementEnsure food safety ad hygiene sops are being followedMonitoring and reporting of quality standards to site managementLiaise with production and planning with regards to customer requirementsControl of non-conforming productCorrect recording, reporting, and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation.Collect product samples for product development, lab retains and customer samples when directed.Recognise and implement opportunities for quality improvement You must haveThird level degree in relevant subjectHands-on approach to developing solutionsAbility to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyHACCP certification would be an advantage Working hours will be Monday - Friday day shift/office hours and salary in return will be competitive depending on skills and experience.If this sounds like the career move you've been after and would like to hear more, pick up the phone to Sophie now on 01 5267473 or
