Key job responsibilitiesAs a quality assurance engineer, you will/may:
Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or featuresCreate and maintain automation scripts, make configuration changes, and modify/extend test cases to accommodate feature releasesPerform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risksTroubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defectsAnalyze change requests and provide recommendations on how change might impact test scope and/or product behaviorBASIC QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in manual testingExperience in automation testingExperience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in API & Mobile testingExperience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and controlAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
