Wills Bros are currently seeking a talented and experienced Quality Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team for a large-scale road development project in Roscommon. As Quality Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all aspects of the road project meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to oversee the implementation of quality control processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor quality control procedures for all phases of the road project, including materials testing, workmanship, and compliance with design specifications.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits, and prepare reports for project management.Identify and address any quality-related issues or defects promptly, providing solutions and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.Work closely with the project management team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and adherence to project timelines.Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures within the project and the company.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the civil engineering or construction industry.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems.Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing QMS in large-scale projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Proficiency in quality management software and tools.Certification in quality management (e.g., CQI, IRCA) is highly desirable.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Involvement working on a high-profile infrastructure project.Apply now
