Quality Health & Safety Manager / Dublin PermanentQuality Health & Safety Manager / Dublin Our client is a highly reputable manufacturing company seeking a QHS Manager to maintain high company standards of quality, health & safety across its operations. Salary: 70K – €75K, plus excellent benefits.
The Role: Responsible for developing quality, health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Identify potential hazards in the workplace, assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.Organise training programmes for employees on safety protocols, quality standards and best practices, ensuring compliance.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality, health and safety regulations. Keep updated on legislative changes and industry standards and update company policies.Lead investigations to determine causes and implement corrective and preventative actions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, health and safety performance.Communicate quality, health and safety performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.Develop emergency response plans to ensure the company is prepared for emergencies.Promote a culture where quality, health and safety are priorities, enhancing the reputation of the company.The Candidate: 3rd level degree in QHSE with strong legislative knowledge.Strong experience in workplace safety, legal and safety guidelines.Deep understanding of legal quality, health & safety guidelines.Good data analysis and risk assessment knowledge.Strategic thinker with strong analysis/planning experience.Customer/client focused.Proven ability to interpret and make accessible complex ideas and data.Proven ability to network and collaborate with managers and teams to build effective partnerships for compliance.Able to interpret new legislation/policy/regulation and liaise with various bodies.
