Opportunity: As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, legality, and compliance of all of our client's products and procedures.
Reporting directly to the Management team, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of their quality management systems, ensuring adherence to BRC standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain BRC Accreditation, ensuring operations comply with current BRC standards and successfully complete external audits.
* Oversee internal audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives through the non-conformance system to prevent recurrence of issues.
* Manage product traceability and laboratory testing programs, conducting trend analyses and investigating any issues.
* Develop employees through training, monitoring, and mentoring to ensure a high level of competency and compliance.
* Collaborate closely with sales and plant operations teams to manage quality programs, inspection coordination, and testing requirements.
* Implement necessary quality assurance systems and infrastructure to support company growth and expansion.
* Advise Technical Manager and Management staff on quality control and food safety issues, presenting feasible solutions.
* Stay up-to-date with legal changes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food/nutritional legislation, and managing product recall procedures.
* Provide support to various departments including technical, customer service/sales, production, and marketing on food safety-related queries and issues.
* Manage the microbiological testing program of finished products and contribute to selected project work as required.
Candidate Requirements: * Relevant 3rd level qualification in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years of previous experience demonstrating knowledge of quality systems and regulatory inspections.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including senior management, colleagues, and clients.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Well-developed analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Fluency in English is preferred.
* Authorization to work in Ireland is required.
Remuneration: As an indication salary would be €(phone number removed) PA and benefits include food allowance and on-site parking.
