Recruitment Consultant in the EHS Space in Ireland We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Lead to drive the development and continuous improvement of our clients Quality Management System (QMS).
This role offers an opportunity to lead critical quality initiatives in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting our clients mission of excellence in the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance Quality Systems to meet legislative, industry, and customer standards.
Manage and oversee the operational performance of quality systems to achieve business objectives.
Develop and track Quality KPIs and lead monthly performance reviews.
Lead inspection readiness programs and host regulatory, customer, and certification audits .
Oversee supplier and raw material approval processes, including incoming material inspections and releases.
Manage the CAPA program , ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
Improve and lead the product recall process , conducting annual mock recalls.
Implement the Annual Business Quality Review program and manage customer complaints .
Address supplier non-conformances with corrective and preventive measures.
Maintain regulatory authorizations and submit variations as needed.
Conduct internal audits and oversee batch document reviews for Quality Control and Microbiological data .
Support IT Quality System selection and lead its implementation.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Quality, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 10+ years' experience in a Quality leadership role, with at least 5 years in process-based manufacturing (food and/or pharmaceutical industries).
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful Quality Systems and procedures .
Strong leadership experience, including quality execution, analysis , and adherence to deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office , ERP systems, and Quality System software.
Effective communicator with experience working across customers, cross-functional teams, and executive management.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and HACCP standards .
