Opportunity: As a Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's products meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate and organized quality control records to ensure compliance with specifications and health and safety standards.
* Record and communicate any non-conformances, ensuring they are addressed and resolved promptly.
* Keep calibration records up to date for all equipment according to the agreed schedule.
* Notify the QA manager and/or production manager of any non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions.
* Conduct laboratory analysis and maintain documentation to support quality control processes.
* Handle and document customer complaints in the absence of the QA manager, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
* Demonstrate flexibility by being prepared to assist in other duties within the business unit as needed.
* Adhere to all company rules and policies, including participating in training activities and supporting the training of new staff.
* Collaborate with the QA manager and production team to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry.
* Working knowledge of BRC/ISO certification standards.
* A quality or technical qualification would be advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
* Dedication to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Remuneration: As an indication salary would be up to €35,000 PA and benefits include food allowance and on-site parking.
