What you will do: Technical Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical components for medical devicesApply circuit and electrical system test methodsAssist with prototyping and bench testingSupport problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirementsUnder supervision, conduct research and studies to support product designBusiness Responsibilities:Interpret customer needs and understand design inputsUnderstand the product's intended use and clinical proceduresMed Device Compliance:Understand fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which align with regulatory requirementsWith supervision, create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History file per company design control proceduresLearn R&D procedures like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management SystemGeneral Responsibilities:Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success and contribute to the project as a team memberLearn procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology requiredWork on problems in limited scope; purposefully learn while gaining experienceDemonstrate ownership and integrity of workBuild stable relationshipsMinimum Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 0+ years of work experiencePreferred Qualifications (Strongly desired): Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of electrical components and manufacturing methodsBasic ability to read and interpret electrical drawingsBasic understanding of the electrical design processKnowledge of design and concept generation CAD, CAE, or simulation toolsKnowledge of analysis tools and statistical methodsKnowledge of system components and associated requirements
