We have a fantastic opportunity for a Radiographer to join a Cross sectional Radiology department, in a hospital in north Dublin.
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated Radiographer who wants to be part of a Radiology department that delivers first-class Cross sectional Imaging services.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join a friendly, motivated and experienced team of Radiographers.

The successful candidate: The Radiographer will have a minimum of 1 years postgraduate experience.
The candidate will be able to rotate through other specialties such as General X Ray, DEXA, Theatre and Interventional/Fluoroscopy Radiology.
Our client: This Radiology department is a busy multidisciplinary department incorporating MRI, CT, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, DEXA and General Radiography Responsibilities will include: Conduct all required radiographic imaging examinations across the Diagnostic Imaging Department, including General Radiography, DEXA, Theatre, Interventional/Fluoroscopy Radiology.
Deliver high-quality, best-practice clinical imaging as needed, taking full professional responsibility for all aspects of work while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
Support a reliable, efficient, and quality-driven radiographic service for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting to various shift patterns and departmental service needs, and actively participate in the department's radiographic rota.
Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Perform intravenous cannulation when necessary.
Ensure all documentation aligns with hospital policies, including data protection and confidentiality requirements for patient records, log books, quality assurance records, and staff training records.
Maintain clear communication with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support a professional and high-standard imaging service.
Provide guidance on technologies and procedures to visitors and students as requested Uphold confidentiality per hospital and departmental policies.
Take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the department, especially ones designated area, in accordance with Infection Control and Health and Safety guidelines.
Comply with all professional practice codes and guidelines, including managing a departmental Quality Assurance program.
Assist with the evaluation, logging, and reporting of imaging and equipment issues and ensure routine audits are conducted.
Actively support and promote the hospital's quality process to ensure a consistent delivery of high-quality service.
Familiarize and adhere to hospital accreditation standards, including contributing to and upholding JCI AOP Radiology Standards.
Support hospital JCI Accreditation Standards compliance, including adherence to International Patient Safety Goals (IPSGs) within the department.
Ensure compliance with relevant HIQA and EPA guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria: Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography.
Must hold CORU registration Minimum of 1 year experience in a busy Radiology department Knowledge and understanding of healthcare environment Knowledge and experience of using IT systems effectively e.g.
Outlook, RIS, PACS, iPIMS.
Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers.
Have proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
