It is of utmost importance that the Front Office department always present a friendly and professional manner.
As a Reception Supervisor, you will assist inensuring the smooth and efficient running of the reception departmentensuring guests requests are met at all times for guests bookings for bedrooms, dealing with queries, and cross-selling of our other properties and revenue is maximized.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance and during the guests stay.
Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel.
Ensure correct guest register and payment is taken & responsibility for the security of the keys.
Answer any query a guest may have about our in-house facilities and assist with any tourist information.
Manage Guest's reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
Assist in efficient and effective communication with the reservations' departmental operations.
Upsell other departments within the hotel Requirements: 1-2 years experience in a similar role with a Reservations System, Opera / Opera Cloudwould be an advantage.
Excellent customer care skills.
Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
Ability to cope well under pressure.
Highly motivated, and a team player.
