About the Role As the Financial Controller for the Americas region, you will be a critical contributor to the finance function, managing all financial activities for allocated entities within your portfolio. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reports and compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves leadership in financial reporting, management accounting, and audit functions while supporting strategic initiatives and maintaining robust financial controls.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the preparation and presentation of management accounts and ensuring detailed monthly reporting.Ensuring adherence to financial reporting standards and policies, particularly IFRS and US GAAP compliance.Overseeing tax and regulatory compliance and collaborating with group finance for audit and reporting deadlines.Providing financial insights to support operational decision-making and budget planning.Collaborating with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to deliver key performance indicators and variance analysis.Working closely with internal teams to drive finance transformation initiatives and improve operational efficiency.About You You are an experienced finance professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and management accounting, preferably within the asset management industry. Known for your attention to detail and strategic mindset, you excel in delivering complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification preferred.5+ years of post-qualified experience, with a background in asset management and fund administration.Advanced knowledge of IFRS and exposure to US GAAP standards.Proven experience managing cross-functional finance teams and financial reporting for multiple entities.Proficiency with financial systems and tools, with advanced skills in Excel; experience with Sage Intacct is an advantage.What Now?
