The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Regulatory Manager to join our Regulatory Reporting Team, based in Dublin. You will manage Solvency II Financial Reporting including quarterly and annual regulatory submissions and associated reporting. Reporting directly to the Controller, Financial Reporting, you will lead the Regulatory Reporting team through reporting periods and work closely with the Allianz Group.
Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for delivery of Allianz (Ireland) Best in Class Regulatory Reporting including:Quarterly, bi-annual and annual QRTs and NSTs, SFCR and RSR reports for both Ireland and the UKCoordination and management of NCID returns.Analysis and presentation of change in quarterly regulatory results including Own Funds to local committees for sign off.Audit Committee / Risk Committee and Board reportingEnsuring adequate control framework for all regulatory reporting is in place and understanding control issuesEnsuring adequate processes in place to act on any relevant changes to Solvency II and any external regulatory reportingCoordinating and working with Allianz (Ireland) Actuarial, Investments, Risk, Reinsurance, Claims, and Portfolio Underwriting functions to ensure completion of required reporting.Working with Allianz Group teams to ensure (Allianz Ireland) reporting requirements are met.Operational day-to-day management and support, technical regulatory analysis, and variance analysis during quarter and year-end reporting including escalating to Controller, Financial Controller, and CFO as needed.Managing annual external regulatory audit providing finance information, process walkthroughs as neededResponsible for overall team management including recruitment and daily management of direct reportsBeing a leader within the Allianz (Ireland) Finance function, working proactively to ensure the success of the overall team, through strong collaboration with all areas of the business.Key Requirements & Experience Qualified Professional, 5 years + experience in financial regulated industryStrong understanding of Solvency II requirementsDemonstrated experience of coordinating and delivering highly accurate output in an environment of multiple deadlinesPrevious involvement in IT projects, implementing reporting efficiencies and changes in reporting taxonomiesExperience in SAP reporting tools (Business Explorer)
