Reinsurance Claims Advisor wanted for Reinsurance Company-Dublin City/Hybrid Abrivia are partnering with a renowned international reinsurance firm to recruit a Reinsurance Claims Advisor for their Dublin office.
This is a permanent position offering the chance to engage with an extensive and varied portfolio of reinsurance claims.
The role provides a unique opportunity to work with diverse lines of business, encompassing speciality risks, Lloyd's syndicate programs, and global claims operations.
Your Role: Oversee claims across specialised reinsurance categories such as Aviation, Cyber, Marine, Energy, and Political Risk.Manage claims under binder agreements within the Lloyd's syndicate framework, including Casualty, Property, and D&O claims.Coordinate claims from global reinsurance branches, focusing on lines like Trade Credit, Property, and Workers' Compensation.Assess and process claim notifications using internal claims management systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and clients to streamline communication and optimise claim resolution.Approve claims and treaty statements within your authority, escalating complex cases for further review when necessary.Keep underwriters and key stakeholders informed about claim developments and trends.Handle additional duties and projects as assigned to support team goals.Your Skills: At least 3 years of experience in claims management within the (re)insurance sector.Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong IT skills with proficiency in claims software and tools like Excel.A detail-oriented approach, ensuring precision in all aspects of claims handling.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.High levels of integrity and professional ethics.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV or alternatively call Tadhg at 01 9052560.
