Senior Data Engineer Location: Dublin Salary: € Hybrid Reperio are working with a major player in the marketing domain here in Ireland who are hoping to expand their headcount significantly in Q1 of 2025.
Their main are of focus will be in regards to Data, and as such they are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the team.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of our data pipelines and platforms.
In this role, you will enhance the performance of existing data infrastructure and ensure best practices in data management, security and compliance.
Requirements: 5+ years in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (preferably Python).
Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.).
Strong background in AWS and related tools such as Redshift.
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modelling and schema design.
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
