Reporting Analyst My client, a longstanding financial and credit management company in Galway, is looking to recruit a Reporting Analyst with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
This is a full-time permanent role.
You will work in the Data Management and Client Reporting team, alongside analysts, designers, and business managers to continuously improve their services and the systems that underpin them. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment contributing to the transformation of system information into insight, insight into business decisions, and business decisions into change. Responsibilities Manage predefined business critical, system and regulatory reporting tasks and respond to changes in requirements.Conduct quality checks on data and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of information, implementing necessary data validation processes and resolving any discrepancies or issues identified.Liaise with internal stakeholders and 3rd party service providers to resolve issues.Respond to data and reporting queries within agreed SLAs.Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Find better ways to do things, never accept 'that's just how it's done'.Provide critical cover for other team functions.Participate in existing and new projects as part of the continuous development, expansion, and evolution of the business.Key Requirements 3rd level qualification in Information Technology, Systems Analysis, or similar discipline.At least 3 years relevant experience.Financial Services Industry experience, in particular with regulatory reporting, is a distinct advantage.Present a meticulous mindset, coupled with strong organisational and time management abilities.Experience with working on technical platforms.Experience with querying large data sets and the ability to summarize data.The ability to manage numerous tasks at one time and prioritise your workload.Strong technical acumen.
