Post Summary The Research, Innovation & Technology Manager is responsible for delivering on Learnovate's research and technology strategies and for embedding innovation throughout Learnovate.
Reporting to the Managing Director and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Research, Innovation & Technology Manager holds primary responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of all research, innovation, and technology initiatives in support of Learnovate's vision, mission, and strategic direction.
This role will drive the strategic direction of research, innovation, and technology activities, providing inspirational leadership across Learnovate to ensure rapid and effective responses to membership needs and research funding opportunities.
The Research, Innovation & Technology Manager will work collegially across the Learnovate Leadership team to generate collaborative opportunities that will increase the impact of our research and ensure the development of a talent pool of next-generation researchers.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this employment is to implement Learnovate's research and technology strategies and embed innovation throughout the organisation.
You will lead research, innovation, and technology initiatives, collaborating with the leadership team to drive strategic direction, secure research funding, and develop a talent pool of future researchers.
This role is directly linked to the deliverables of Learnovate's current Strategic and Business Plan.
Employment is not offered on an indefinite basis, as the role is tied to specific strategic activities expected to be completed within a defined period.
Furthermore, the position is funded by Enterprise Ireland, a non-core university funding stream, which is anticipated to cease within a finite period.
As such, the contract will terminate upon completion of the work or if the funding stream is withdrawn or terminated by the funding agency.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Senior Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€96,914 - €125,148 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
