About this RoleAs a Product Manager, you will drive the end-to-end process of delivering innovative products and services, from requirements gathering to market launch.
You will maintain and prioritise product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market trends, and strategic goals.
Collaborating closely with R&D, commercial, and test teams, you will oversee release cycles, ensure rigorous validation within our SDLC, and champion Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to inform product direction.
This role also involves regulatory compliance oversight, cross-functional communication, and support for product launches, ensuring our offerings meet the highest standards in regulated and GLP environments.
Responsibilities: Oversee the end to end process for new product / service delivery to market, from requirements gathering through to commercial enablementMaintain a clear, prioritised roadmap for products and services that aligns to customer, market and strategic business requirementsFacilitate regular cross-stakeholder communication on project statuses, risks & mitigationsMaintain close relationships with commercial, R&D & test teams to ensure planned product & service release cycles re delivered to planSupport all aspects of verification & validation with in our SDLCChampion structured requirements gathering through VOC activities including direct customer engagement, industry forum participation and market intelligence / trendsWork closely with end users to ensure product and service capabilities align to their communicated needsSupport the development of customer support materials, including user manuals and other customer training materialsSupport the commercial team via Product Launch Excellence to ensure they are suitably equipped & enabled to offer Deciphex products and services in the fieldMaintain knowledge & awareness of regulatory requirements and trends in Digital Pathology for Deciphex products being sold into regulated or GLP environmentsComplete all mandatory company training and job-specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicableOther duties as required from time to timeRequired Skills and Experience: Higher-level qualification (Degree or higher) in life science, software development or business (or equivalent industry experience)Solid understanding or work experience in software development and professional software servicesWork experience as a Product Manager in a software company (SaaS or equivalent) would be highly desirableWorking knowledge of the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industryExperience working in an Agile environment with a range of SDLC's and methods such as Agile/WaterfallProficient in standard computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with GLP regulations or software will be 'a distinct advantage.'Understanding of the basic principles of pathology and digital pathology would be highly regardedRequired Soft Skills You will be coachable and have a passion for new ideas while being able to get results under tough conditions.You possess good presentation skills and be confident to present at all levels from the end user to C-SuiteYou have the creative & professional skills needed to organise and prepare for attendance & presentation at CustomerEngagements / Industry forumsYou will have shown leadership skills in previous positions and are keen to develop these skills further.You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and are able to execute on tasks by using your initiative.You enjoy innovating and bringing new ideas to the table.You like to have autonomy in your role and the independence to manage your own time and workload.You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with lots of different teams and people.Other Important things to note: This position is a Hybrid position in Ireland; periodic in-person office attendance will be a requirement for this roleThis position will require remote collaboration with associates on European and US time zones; on occasion, support for Japanese time zone will be requiredCandidate must hold a valid Passport to support travel, when required, to support customer / market engagementWhat are the benefits of working with Deciphex?
