We have a successful track record in delivering national and internationally funded research projects in Climate Action, Industrial Water Stewardship, and Circularity, delivering industry led applied research with a focus on practical evidence-based impact in association with our Communities of Practice.
Role OverviewWe are looking for candidates with an exceptionally strong background in research management, dissemination and exploitation strategies and extremely confident in managing EU funded research projects and writing EU funded project proposals.
Building on the recent success in acquiring international and national research funding (Horizon Europe, UK Market Improvement Fund and EPA), the 20FIFTY Partners Research unit are now looking to recruit a Research Projects Lead to deliver on the team's research project portfolio across Climate Action, Sustainability, Circularity and Water Stewardship.
The successful candidate will be based in our Limerick office full-time.
Responsibilities:Project manage several large programmes of research concurrentlyLead out key national and internationally funded research projects in sustainabilityRepresent the company in our national and international working groups and networksConduct horizon scanning on research opportunities and engagement opportunities with existing and emerging research consortiumsActively develop and implement project exploitation and dissemination strategies in collaboration with relevant project partnersPrepare the non-scientific elements of funding reports in an accurate and timely mannerLead out on the planning and implementation of project launch and consortia meetingsActively develop appropriate external contacts and networks relevant to future collaboration and funding opportunities including with academic institutions and research bodiesProvide direct project management guidance to the project managers and lead project partners on project activitiesBe the point of contact for all project operational activity including partner management/technical teams and external stakeholdersConduct operational management of project budgets and assigned resources allocationsLead Principal Investigators through the administration of account set up and close outLead relevant meetings associated with the research project or related activitiesResolve problems affecting the delivery of research projectsLead bids for major research projectsWhat We Are Looking For:A degree or higher in a relevant discipline5+ years of professional project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing large EU projects (e.g., EU framework programme projects such as Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe)Certifications or accreditations in project management methodologies, e.g., APMP, PRINCE2, PMP, CSMExperienced in stakeholder management including communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders e.g., funding bodies, academia, government institutions, non-profit agenciesExperience in managing delivery and submission of project deliverables/reportsAssertive and motivated by ambitious objectivesEligibility Criteria:Be willing to work full time in our Limerick officeBe currently eligible to live and work in IrelandWhat We Offer:A competitive salary reflective of your skills and experienceOpportunities for professional development and career growthA supportive and inclusive work environmentLife Assurance, Pension Contributions, Employee Assistance Programme, Bike to Work Scheme20FIFTY Partners is a purpose driven company, assisting businesses transition to a more sustainable future.
