This popular, award-winning four star hotel in central Dublin is currently recruiting a Reservations Manager to assist in maximising hotel revenue, working closely with the wider hotel team.
Key responsibilities: Deal with reservations and customer enquiries via phone and emailEnsure reservations are taken accurately and in a helpful, friendly mannerEnsure all email correspondence is responded to in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure use of proper telephone etiquette in answering callsManage group blocks, managing cut off dates, deposits and contractsMaximise rooms and other revenue sales through efficient revenue managementSupport and guide the Reservations teamThe ideal candidate: At least two years' experience as Reservations Manager in a large, quality hotel property with solid mix of business: corporate, leisure, C&BExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong knowledge of Property Management SystemStrong customer service ethos and backgroundA can-do attitude and the ability to work well in teamProficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer softwareExcellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-taskGreat range of benefits including: Free meals on dutyComplimentary parking while on dutyComplimentary uniformsWelfare programmeComplimentary use of hotel Fitness RoomFamily & Friends discount ratesEmployee monthly and annual awardsActive employee social clubTraining and development programmesBike to Work & Tax Saver schemesIf you are looking for a company that takes a guest-focused as well as employee-focused approach to hospitality, this could be the perfect fit!
