Purpose To develop world class integrated customer experiences for brands across retail and design for projects across several large, small, niche and high-end brands. This role will have a focus on producing detailed drawings and elevations for projects to prepare them for costing and site install. Main Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with sales representatives to satisfy clients brief Preparation of presentations, sample boards and product sourcing Space planning and retail floor plans in CAD 3D visualisation of retail interiors and fixtures Interpretation of Building Regulations and implementing on live contracts. Liaison with Landlords/ authorities for fit-out approval. Co-ordinate Fire Cert & DAC requirements and submissions where applicable. Graphic design and print production files in Adobe suite a benefit Attending client and site meetings Prepare and deliver on time and ensures that all design delivery information is robust and accurate Able to prepare viable production information / estimates can understand clients needs and how these can be met in the most cost efficient and effective manner Co-ordinate/produce strategic project plans walkways, sightlines, fixture zones, signage, lightboxes, liaison and interfaces with other projects A part of the design team that takes ideas from concept through to completion, involved in everything from developing digital drawings to coordinating the delivery of project. Setting the highest standards and always looking to push the boundaries with ideas that deliver commercially Review design proposals from brands, make suggestions/recommendations and present to senior teams Qualifications 3rd level qualification in design or related field is a must Experience, Skills & Knowledge Experience in preparing sample boards, schedules and specifications for tender Background in retail as well as being an established designer Great attention to detail 1+ years previous experience in industry A good knowledge of building regulations and standards Fluent in written and spoken English Effective, confident presenter and a clear, incisive thinker able to unfold the story to clients in a way that they can understand AutoCAD essential and highly skilled in packages like Photoshop advantageous Strong track record in retail store design in Fashion, Food, Beauty or Offices and a proven ability to deliver innovative space solutions Experience with 3D design and drawings If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
