The Role The Revenue accountant located in Dublin will be a key member of the revenue accounting team. The role will be primarily responsible for international revenue accounting but will also contribute to US revenue accounting as a member of the global revenue accounting team. This includes the day-to-day accounting, month end close activities, management reporting, financial reporting, and assisting in financial audits, all related to our global revenue accounting workstreams and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

This role is key to providing accurate and timely financial information used to support both internal decision making and external reporting compliance. The role will be highly visible within the company's various departments. The ideal candidate will have foundational accounting knowledge including revenue recognition experience as well as the ability and willingness to engage in complex analysis, and aspirations to further develop a career in revenue accounting.

Responsibilities Reviews sales orders for the correct accounting treatment considering revenue recognition and related cost allocation. Manages the revenue accounting close process, including preparing and uploading journal entries to the General Ledger as well as preparing and reviewing balance sheet and revenue account analysis and reconciliations. Works as part of a cohesive global accounting team that will be expected to successfully meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to changes in business environment to ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting in conformance with US GAAP. Manage the revenue cycle and reporting in (statutory) audits and Financial Statements. Actively supports regional sales teams on structure of deals considering revenue recognition aspects. Identify areas for process improvement and develop automated workflows to increase efficiency and will be in ad-hoc projects of the global accounting and finance organization. Requirements The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar or sort like finance role in an international organisation. Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or accounting degree (ACCA/ACA/similar). Experience in revenue accounting with exposure to lease accounting and US accounting standard ASC606. Exposure to different accounting standards (USGAAP, IFRS and local GAAP). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong Excel skills and experience with Oracle ERP (or similar) preferred. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented, organised with a 'right first time' approach to work. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work with global accounting team members located in both Dublin and New York. Ability and willingness to work in a growing business environment and meet critical business deadlines. Working Arrangements This is a hybrid-based position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions / geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
