BDO Talent Management have partnered with an Irish Pharma company located in Dublin 18.
We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional which will involve working on a broad range of accounting issues across all of the business.
You will join a professional and expert finance team focused on making an impact globally and supporting our mission – to help its clients accelerate the development of drugs and medical devices that save patient lives and improve their quality of life.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery of accurate monthly and quarterly revenue recognition (ASC606) and reporting close process in line with strict deadlines ensuring integrity and accuracy of the information reported.Delivery of all required audit (both internal and external) documentation and ensuring full and effective compliance with SoX requirements.Responsible for the maintenance of standardised global processes to recognise revenue in accordance with latest US GAAP & SEC requirements.Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to develop, challenge and continually improve processes and systems aligned with revenue recognition.Ensure that relevant accounting policies and procedures are documented, understood and reviewed/updated as necessary.Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations and participate in various process improvement initiatives.Lead, motivate and develop the revenue recognition team with a strong focus on coaching and recognizing opportunities for development in order to achieve KPIs.Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, energy, responsiveness, decision-making, and effectiveness.Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRole Requirements
Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).5+ years Post Qualification Experience.Oracle Financials experience preferable.Good knowledge/experience with MS Excel.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work to tight deadlines with an absolute commitment to accuracy.Demonstrate an ability to manage own work in an efficient manner and to work with a high degree of own initiative and ownership.
