About the OpportunityThis role is for a Revenue Accountant within a growing Finance Function. This is a permanent position which will allow a qualified accountant to develop, learn new skills and take on responsibility in financial accounting. The role ensures accounting processes are compliant with policies & functions in an effective & efficient manner.
About the ResponsibilitiesWorking with the new SAP RAR Module to support ASC 606 AccountingResponsible for preparation of Revenue entries supporting various Revenue Operations Workstreams in line with US GAAPGeneral ledger/Month end close processFinancial reporting – working closely with various teams to ensure accuracy of RevenueSupport Management reportingInternal & External Audit support for multiple countriesSOX compliance/maintaining appropriate documentationEnsuring all monthly general ledger reconciliations are completedAssist with Automation & Process Improvements in the Revenue Operations areaAbout the Requirements2 to 3 years recent experience working within a multinational environment Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or CPA)Good knowledge of local/US GAAP is desirableExperience of using an ERP system preferably SAPStrong experience in Excel required / Comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data/Strong Data Analytical skillsComfortable within a changing environment, enthusiastic and energeticFluency in a second Language is beneficial Willingness to take on new tasks as required and can work on own initiative Strong time management skills and works on critical items with a sense of urgencyWillingness to work closely within growing Finance team & with Cross functional stakeholdersFooterAvaya is an Equal Opportunity employer and a U.S. Federal Contractor.
