Reward Insight SpecialistRole PurposeThe Compensation & Benefits team at An Post is passionate about delivering an exceptional service to our colleagues, by developing innovative rewards strategies and solutions that drive employee satisfaction and organisational success. We are now seeking to recruit a motivated and analytical individual to join the team as our Rewards Insights Specialist.
Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager as Reward Insight Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert in data insights, responsible for the Compensation and Benefits' functions' analytical needs. In this role you will be tasked with obtaining, collating, reviewing, and analysing employee data and market trends to support Reward and Benefit projects, annual pay review process, bench-marking, process improvement activity and market research. Central to your success in the role will be your ability to collaborate closely with HR colleagues and wider stakeholders as the business continues to evolve on its transformation journey.
ResponsibilitiesThe principal responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to:
Partnering with the Compensation and Benefits Manager and closely related teams to manage processes by maintaining key documents and information, conducting audits, collating and maintaining pay governance documents, salary ranges, reward policies etc.Collecting, structuring, analysing, forecasting, modelling and reporting on Reward related data.Communicating results of analytics projects in a relevant way for differing stakeholder requirements.Creating detailed data analysis, charts and presentations, identifying trends and issues and translating data into insights.Supporting the Compensation and Benefits Manager to develop policies and processes that drive compensation and benefit data integrity.Developing skills in job evaluation and completing salary and benefit surveys.Researching compensation related queries escalated from our H.R. Operations team.Independently and pro-actively researching and developing knowledge in Reward and Data Analytics.Learning and growing with us as our team moves through our H.R. Transformation programme of work, assisting with a range of Reward related activities, including providing support in the implementation and roll-out of Compensation and Benefits Cloud solution.Other ad-hoc activities that may be required from time to time.Demonstrating An Post values and behaviours in your day to day work and addressing behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.Knowledge & ExperienceYou will have at least 3 years' relevant experience in a related discipline such as Finance, Data Analytics, or Human Resources, with a proven background in operating large and complex data sets, drawing insights, bringing data to life and efficiently creating analysis that supports business decisions. You will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant field and will demonstrate an interest in and passion for employee reward and motivation. Experience with Power BI is desirable.
Analytical in your approach, you are quality focussed with excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mind-set. You have strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the agility to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and demonstrating exceptional organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills along with the ability to develop effective working relationships and to partner successfully with colleagues to achieve objectives are also essential.
