Job Title: SAP FICO Functional Consultant Career Level - D3 Introduction to role:
Join us as an SAP Functional Consultant for a world-leading Pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca, operating in over 100 countries. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a functional team for a large SAP support and maintenance project, spanning several SAP landscapes across continents. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and good technical knowledge in the FI and CO modules.
Accountabilities:
As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for resolving any SAP issues reported by the business users and delivering all change and enhancements as required by business users. You will also be responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the team lead and project manager. Additionally, you will interact with business users for requirement gathering and providing timely updates on progress made.
Essential Skills/Experience: Broad functional knowledge in your domain and good technical knowledge in the FI and CO modulesWork experience in Banking, P2P/SOTC integration, Interface, Internal order, WBS, Idocs, In-Depth knowledge in Product costingIn-depth functional understanding of their respective work streamGood understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domainAbility to understand business requirements from business users, prepare functional specifications, perform configuration changes, assist technical teams (e.g. ABAP) in their work, perform system and integration testingExposure to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with Non-SAP systemsVery good understanding of integration of SAP modules in End to end business processesUnderstanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle managementAbility to work in large and diverse teamsExposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWell versed in English.
