Summary The SAP Operations Head will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the organization's SAP operations, ensuring seamless execution of SAP projects and initiatives. This role will require a deep understanding of SAP technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex IT environments.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the organization's SAP strategy, aligned with overall business objectives. Oversee the planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for SAP operations. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the SAP team. Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of SAP systems, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other relevant modules. Manage SAP implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements. Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization. Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure adequate hardware and network resources. Team Management: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of SAP professionals. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT executives, and external vendors. Effectively communicate SAP initiatives and progress to stakeholders. Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to SAP operations. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP systems and processes. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP Certified Technology Associate). Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP operations or a similar role. Strong understanding of SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules. Proven track record of successful SAP implementation projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform). Knowledge of industry-specific SAP best practices. Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP Integration Suite).
