Job Description Responsible for the planning of all works on the Dublin Tunnel and Jack Lynch Tunnel.
This includes routine maintenance activities; project works and 3rd party interfaces.
Responsible for maintaining, updating and owning of the ERTO master schedule, which encompasses deliverables from all departments.
This will require regular interaction and communication with all departments and the initiation of planned review meetings.
Ensuring that the Maintenance Management System (MMS) is kept up to date with live information to assist automated scheduling.
Lead the development of the planning team by assessing the workloads and resources required to deliver the contract scope.
Review of the Service Information (SI) with the client to ensure ERTO are contract compliant with the maintenance regime, as per the O&M Manuals and ERTOs Contractors Plan. Ongoing refinement of maintenance Job Plans to ensure efficiencies are implemented.
Ensure Work Orders are updated as required if site data determines that the frequency or method of works should be altered.
Responsible for monthly reporting on the status of the master schedule to the ERTO Senior Team and Client Team.
Carry out training where required, system specific and MMS training.
Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with site rules (Method Statement Risk Assessment (MSRAs), permits, site specific induction, work orders) and organise spare parts and work equipment Lead the independent Principal Inspection (PI) program by providing a detailed scope, site access and any other required documentation to ensure that the reports meet the acceptable standards.
Develop a plan to action any follow-on PI actions by creating Work Orders and arranging resources within the required timeframes.
Work closely with the Works Supervisor to ensure there is a consistent plan for each tunnel closure.
Develop a handover process with the Works Supervisor to ensure that site information is accurate and updates to the plan are made to maximise efficiencies.
Development of a process with the system owners, to ensure contractors maintenance reports are reviewed and stored correctly.
Development works schematics for the DT and JLT tunnel closures that will be used as part of the nightly toolbox talk.
Work closely with the QESH department to ensure H&S risks are managed and alleviated where possible.
Assist with the development of Weekly, Monthly and Annual maintenance work plans.
Assistance with general report writing to ensure compliance with the Contract.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are undertaken in line with Company Standards ISO 55001:2014, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2004 Assist with on-site audits during scheduled and unscheduled tunnel closures and with day-to-day operations.
Manage and compile maintenance contract tender packages and review tender submissions, Business Cases and Forward Capital Works Programme. Manage and support the maintenance and project teams by liaising with Contractors, Technicians, Engineers, Planners, and Consultants etc Qualifications Previous experience working in programming and scheduling works in the maintenance or construction sectors.
Desirable experience with forecasting. Experience in people management with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
Experience in the development of planning programs such as Microsoft Project, M-Files, GIS tools, Maximo Schedular etc.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Good communication skills: verbal/written (in English) Computer literacy – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook in particular Flexibility to work on call when required to co-ordinate site works.
