What you'll doYou will be responsible for systematically landscaping accounts to understand their business goals and needs to build a sales pipeline of 4x annual sales quota, working with assigned VGE accounts on a national level to nurture sales pipeline through the Vodafone Selling process. You will identify opportunities for Mobility, Fixed, Mobile broadband, Unified Comms and Security through outbound calling, social selling and marketing campaigns as appropriate to the sales strategy. You will take responsibility for engaging with customers' buying centres and building solutions tailored to the customer's needs, closing the sale and managing the customer ongoing for cross-selling purposes. This role will also be working with the wider team supporting the account to service the account in country, in addition to engaging with the global account teams to deliver the global strategy in the specific county or region. You will work with Legal and Commercial teams to create bespoke solutions for the customer, and project manage the account, leading all C-level engagement (internal & external).
Actively pursue new opportunities and build new customer, partner & internal relationships.Develop new key contacts as defined and agreed within your sales plan and agreed partner contact strategy.Develop a comprehensive sales plan through effective landscaping to efficiently and effectively identify, qualify, propose, negotiate & close sales opportunities across the Vodafone portfolio.Lead customer negotiations and close deals with effective targets and sales strategy.Support preparation of customer offer including a pricing proposal.Achieve revenue growth and retention of accounts.Deliver a "best in class" customer and partner experience in all interactions & dealings with both clients & partners.Work on large, multi-national strategic & critical accounts handling more complex and/ or non-standard issues and requests.Build & manage Sales pipeline to ensure a minimum of 4x Sales target.Deputize for business leader / management.Provides channels information back to the organization about customers' needs concerning products and services.Acts as Senior Account manager involvement in coach and train Junior Account Manager.Define and launch campaign and initiatives to drive pipeline/AOV across partner base.Who you areEffective Relationships & Networking.Thinking & Acting Strategically.Ability to work as part of a global and local team.Strong analytical, organizational & problem-solving skills, time management is a critical competency.Strong commercial and business acumen in a fast-paced environment.Multi-Stakeholder Management.3+ years industry-related experience.Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2B, complex sales environment.Forecasting and reporting skills.Self-driven attitude with high level negotiating skills.Experience working within telecommunications industry and/or with next generation services (IoT, M2M, cloud and hosting) is an advantage.Languages other than English beneficial but not essential.Microsoft office suite.Knowledge of CRM system such as Salesforce, QlikView, etc is beneficial but not essential.Not a perfect fit?Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
