About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 11
The Team: Structured Credit, within the Structured Finance sector, provides credit ratings of structured products that are backed by pools of assets, mainly focused on Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) transactions. You will report to the Analytical Manager, Structured Finance and be working closely with several highly experienced industry specialists. The team is comprised of 20 analysts based out of London, Paris, and Frankfurt offices.

You will have responsibility for helping the undertaking of the analysis for the Structured Credit team.

Structured finance is an important sector of the capital markets and is a key funding source and growth driver for many areas of the economy. You will be exposed to CLO, SME, repack structure. The role offers great potential for professional development and career growth and a possibility to participate in the Company Data Science initiatives.
Responsibilities: Be the primary analytical contact for bankers, issuers, and investors to resolve any analytical inquiries that may arise during the rating process.You'll have ownership of a portfolio of predominantly CLO credits.Review documents, consider the legal dimensions of transaction structures, develop an understanding of and apply relevant rating criteria, assess the credit profile of collateral pools, work with financial and cash flow models to stress test the structures and enhancement levels under various economic scenarios.Independently prepare and present analysis and recommendations to credit committees.Assist in the preparation and presentation of analysis by a senior team member and recommendations to credit committees.Conduct analyses on complicated SF transactions with appropriate risk factor identification, measurement, and presentation.Act as a proactive member in ratings committees and in the team.Work closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team.Review and run cash flow models.Analyse data and review documentation for the analytical team.Undertake research in support of S&P Global Ratings published commentaries.Understand and implement S&P's Policies.Take the lead on special projects within Structured Finance as appropriate.What We're Looking For: Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related subject/Pursuing post-graduate studies/CFA.A S&P employee at this level typically has 3-6 years' experience in Securitization and/or CLO or credit analysis or related analytical fields.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Good attention to detail.Demonstrable analytical work experience in the financial services industry and good numerical skills, with an ability to synthesize and interpret large volumes of data.Comfortable with quantitative analysis and have a knack for problem-solving.Solid analytical capability, team player, and good time management skills.Able to multi-task and meet projects with a tight time frame.Self-starter with a proactive attitude and effective team player.Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-changing, global, and regulated environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Fluent in English with good writing skills to prepare professional analyses and reports.Good/advanced knowledge of Python and/or R is a distinctive advantage.About S&P Global Ratings At S&P Global Ratings, our analyst-driven credit ratings, research, and sustainable finance opinions provide critical insights that are essential to translating complexity into clarity so market participants can uncover opportunities and make decisions with conviction.
