Job Description & Summary About us: DIO is one of the largest corporate tax groups in the PwC Ireland Tax practice, providing a broad range of services to a diverse client base including Irish Plcs, multinational companies, family businesses, trusts, large privately owned organisations, partnerships and high net worth individuals. There are a number of dedicated teams within DIO including on the corporate tax side: Plcs, Entrepreneurs and Private Business, R&D, Property and Mergers and Acquisitions and the typical kind of projects that we advise on include group reorganisations, financing and refinancing projects, management buy-outs and much more.
What we do: Our role is to help our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. We focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

As a Senior Associate in the Corporate Tax team, specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working on a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop into the management of your own portfolio.Assistance with tax due diligence work streams for clients across all tax heads through direct review of corporation tax or project management of other taxes.Assisting clients with both pre and post-acquisition structuring.Working closely with our colleagues in broader transaction services teams to deliver a comprehensive service offering and value to our clients.Embracing the digital transformation being undertaken in our business. Being motivated to familiarise yourself with these evolutions and to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients.Assisting in the ongoing management of client relationships, business development and participating in various consultancy projects.Utilising the flexible working environment with efficient management of personal assignments, while reporting to a team of experienced senior managers, directors and partners.Development of your own career. With sustained levels of growth in our tax practice, you will have an excellent opportunity to progress and specialise.Mentoring and coaching trainees, promoting autonomy to make a difference and deliver results.About you – Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience: AITI qualified / part-qualified with 1-2 years' relevant Corporate Tax experience.Effective working knowledge of Corporation Tax in Ireland.Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of clients, to understand their businesses and work with them to address and manage risk.Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge you gain from the regular training sessions we hold on topics that will impact our clients' businesses.Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Energetic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.Unlock your potential with PwC Ireland We believe that challenges are better solved together!
