Our client, a prominent venue in Temple Bar, is seeking experienced Senior Bar Hands / Charge Hands with a robust background in beverage service.
The ideal candidates will have held a similar position for at least three years, demonstrating stability and effectiveness.
This role requires strong leadership skills to direct junior and floor staff in a busy environment.
The focus is on fitting in quickly and maintaining traditional bar service, with no need for specialised cocktail skills.
Key Responsibilities Beverage Service: Provide high-quality beverage service with a strong knowledge of traditional drinks.
Maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.
Team Leadership: Direct and mentor junior bar staff and floor staff.
Foster a positive and efficient work environment amidst a high volume of customers.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth bar operations and timely service in a busy bar environment.
Collaborate effectively with other staff to uphold high service standards.
Adaptability: Integrate quickly into the existing team and operation in a dynamic, high-traffic venue.
Maintain consistency with current practices and standards.
Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum of three years in a similar senior bar hand or charge hand position.
Proven ability to hold a position for more than two years.
Previous experience in the Irish bar industry is essential.
Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Extensive knowledge of traditional beverages.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive team dynamic.
Effective communication skills.
