Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience bartending in Dublin.
Drive and enthusiasm to deliver high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
A passion for food, whiskey, premium gins, and cocktails.
Experience working under pressure.
Flexibility to work mornings and weekends.
Fluent English.
Reference essential.
Must have worked in Ireland before.
Duties: Overseeing Bar Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with beverages, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
Mixing and Serving Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Develop and create new drink recipes or signature cocktails.
Ensure consistent quality in drink preparation.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly.
Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about drinks and menu items.
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Training and Supervising Staff: Train junior bartenders and bar staff in drink preparation, customer service, and bar procedures.
Assign tasks and monitor the performance of bar staff.
Ensure all staff adhere to safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Manage stock rotation and minimize waste.
Cash Handling and Financial Duties: Handle cash, credit transactions, and reconcile the register at the end of shifts.
Track sales and prepare financial reports as needed.
Assist in pricing drinks and managing the bars budget.
