Due to our continued growth, we at the Glashaus Hotel, Tallaght, Dublin 24, are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Bartender to join our dynamic and friendly team.
Your role will be to complete daily tasks that contribute in the running of the Bar, Restaurant and other areas of the hotel where required while providing exceptional customer service every time.
Main Duties Include but are not limited to: Demonstrate a complete knowledge of all menu items.
Demonstrate a complete knowledge of wine and beverage list, including cocktails and promote the use of suggestive sell to guests.
Having the ability to make recommendations to customers.
Remain informed on mixture and measure amounts associated with all drink's menu items.
Being friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
Ensure regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name and that new guests are welcomed.
Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
Carry out day to day duties such as cleaning, organising and maintaining all food and beverage areas, ensuring the property is presentable at all times.
Ensure guests complaints are consistently resolved in a prompt and efficient manner and brought to the attention of the manager on duty.
Ensure all transactions are completed correctly through the appropriate system.
Practice effective stock control in accordance with set guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience a s Senior Bartender A full understanding of food and beverage menus.
Allergen awareness.
Excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a high volume/fast paced environment.
Prior experience in Food and Beverage would be beneficial but is not essential in all cases.
Previous experience in a hotel environment is desired but not essential.
