The OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior BI Analyst to join Glanbia's Centre of Excellence for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. This is a permanent role and will report to the BI Team Lead within the CoE for BI and Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed BI expert who enjoys developing impactful reporting solutions and is excited by the prospect of working with our best-in-class BI reporting technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with the business team to gather requirements for reporting and work closely with the BI CoE team and your counterparts in other regions to build advanced BI solutions to enable business decisions and efficient operations.Develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations using large amounts of data.Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions: Craft and execute queries upon request for data, create visualizations and reports to present information.Promote a data culture within the organization - advocate and implement data education and literacy.Advise business contacts of existing solutions to prevent duplication and support them to align with their counterparts across the organization.Improve existing dashboards, reports, and data transformations.Develop ad-hoc reporting and provide analytics services to support business decision-making processes.Help define or revise business and project KPIs, and create supporting reporting and dashboards where needed.Provide support to the development of training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications.The Skills You Will Bring to the TeamPrimary degree in IT or Engineering.5+ years of prior experience developing SAP BI reporting solutions.Expertise in SAP BW, SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud (or equivalent front end tool).Proven ability to partner across numerous functional areas to deliver business intelligence capabilities.Experience in S4 HANA embedded analytics is a plus.Knowledge of S4 HANA modules is a plus.Experience in designing and delivering high-quality data visuals.Data Analysis and ReportingExtract, clean, and transform data from various sources to create accurate and informative reports.Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance.Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.Data ModelingDesign and develop data models to support business intelligence initiatives.Ensure data integrity and accuracy.Business PartnershipCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.Able to take complex processes and document them into understandable artifacts.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Support data-driven decision making by providing actionable insights.Ability to manage and maintain a busy business program.Utilize BI tools and software (e.g., SAC, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively analyze and visualize data.Experience in SAP analytics cloud and business objects is a plus.Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and trends.Where and How You Will WorkThe opportunity will be based in either Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 office with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.
