This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis.
Summary of role: The Role: We are seeking motivated and experienced Senior Business Analysts to join our newly established AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) at AIB. The AI CoE will be responsible for driving and supporting the development and implementation of AI solutions across the business and ensuring alignment with our AI framework and data ethics principles. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an important role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work with data scientists and engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with the bank's strategic objectives and deliver positive customer outcomes, and measurable business value.

We're looking for someone who: Works with the Business change manager to support the development and improvement of the AI framework and establishes AI CoE processes, standards, and best practices understanding the impact, feasibility and risk associated with implementation of AI solutions.Works with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate and document business requirements for AI projects, ensuring a clear understanding of the business goals and objectives ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Translates business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity, completeness, and consistency ensuring that the technical design and implementation of AI solutions meets the business requirements and expectations.Supports the planning, executing, and tracking of AI projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Supports the testing, deployment, and evaluation of AI solutions, and assist with the resolution of any problems.Analyses existing business processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements and efficiencies. Create process models and workflows that incorporate AI solutions.Act as a liaison between the AI CoE and various departments within the bank, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for AI initiatives including the benefits and outcomes of AI solutions. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, and report on the progress and performance of AI projects to stakeholders.Work with the Business change manager and wider CoE to continuously assess and evolve the AI strategy for the Group. Monitor changes in the external environment and stay abreast of AI related developments in the market.Who are we? We're AIB. Does this sound like something that you want to be part of? You will need to show us that you have: Bachelor's degree or higher in business, computer science or a related field. Qualification in statistics, data science, artificial intelligence or equivalent qualification an advantage.Strong organisation skills with 3+ years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally in a financial services setting.Good knowledge and understanding of AI concepts, tools, and applications, and familiarity with the AI landscape and trends.Excellent Team player, with the ability to collaborate and build rapport within the team and develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.Very strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate business needs, opportunities, and risks.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Passionate about AI and data ethics, and committed to delivering high-quality and value-added AI solutions.As part of the selection process, the successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate the AIB Behaviours and ability in the Behavioural and Technical Capabilities reflected below: Life at AIB If you feel you have what it takes, Click Apply and fill in the online application form.
