Senior Dietitian In Gastroenterology And Hepatology

This Senior Dietitian is assigned to lead on the nutritional care and management of patients attending the gastroenterology and hepatology service within the Mater Hospital.
The scope of the service includes inpatient, outpatient, and day patient work with 1-2 OPD clinics per week of both new and review patients under the GI/Hepatology service.
To be responsible for the nutritional care and management of patients attending the under the GI/Hepatology service within the Mater Hospital.
To act as a resource on nutrition for patients under the gastroenterology and hepatology service, dietitians, carers, medical staff, nursing staff and other health care professionals.
The post holder is part of the team of dietitians delivering the clinical nutrition service to patients attending the Gastroenterology, Hepatology or/and GI cancer services (medical, oncology and surgery) at the Mater Hospital.
This team of dietitians are also supported by entry level dietitians in the delivery of patient services.
Rotation due to vacancies, competence development, and cover for colleagues maybe required.

This is a permanent senior dietitian post.
