Responsibilities :Oversee all EHS operations on site, ensuring compliance with local and European legislation.Implement and maintain robust safety management systems tailored to specific project needs.Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify potential risks and develop effective risk control strategies.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and identify improvement areas.Deliver comprehensive safety reports and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to communicate our EHS commitments and achievements.Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in the construction or engineering sector, with a proven track record on major projects.Strong leadership abilities, with experience leading teams and influencing positive safety culture.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.In-depth knowledge of Irish and European EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent EHS certifications.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective EHS strategies that drive continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in renewable energy projects or large-scale infrastructure developments is a distinct advantage.Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainability reporting frameworks.Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.Contact Details:This position is managed by Jason Reddin.If you're interested in discussing this role or exploring other exciting opportunities within our dynamic team, please reach out to Jason for a confidential discussion at or call +353 87 116 6474.
