Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Responsibilities: Ensure that the site electrical systems are designed, maintained, and upgraded in compliance with European electrical standards and ETCI rules and regulations.Provide leadership engineering support to all electrical-related issues, including daily troubleshooting, optimization, cost reduction, training, and coaching of electrical personnel.Lead all operations relating to maintaining the electrical network throughout AbbVie.Coordinate the annual site maintenance shutdown program across the site, with key responsibility for all electrical systems.Stay up to date with the latest technologies and updates to electrical standards to enhance the electrical network.Monitor the operation of all electrical systems and implement programs and procedures to ensure plant maintenance is performed reliably.Identify continuous improvement activities and lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction, process efficiency, and operational excellence initiatives.Prepare capital expenditure requests for the facility, plant, and equipment.Identify and manage continuous improvement projects.Coordinate site efforts in planning and executing site electrical power down/up, ensuring work is GMP and safety compliant with minimal impact to site activities.Liaise with the electrical utility company to ensure the 10kV supply to the site is maintained and meets ESB Network standards, specifications, and safety requirements.Ensure all electrical personnel are trained and competent on different electrical systems on site, including knowledge sharing and development of PH-sheets.Develop project documents, including scope of works, user requirements specifications, work breakdown structure, project schedules, project budget tracking, and project monitoring and control.Pursue electrical infrastructural improvement from definition to handover.Utilize the electrical power quality system to enhance the performance of the electrical infrastructure on site.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or a National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering with a Degree in Management.10+ years of experience as an electrician.
