Overview Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity is seeking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team!
This role can be based at Eschborn or any other European Waters offices.As Senior Financial Accountant, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase efficiency and to encourage high performance culture.
Our Finance team is a professional, yet comfortable group to work in.
You will utilise your expertise in strategic projects and execute them with the support from the team.

Responsibilities Develop European GAAP Accounting Center of ExcellenceResponsibility for selected accounting and month-end close activities for all or a group of entities in EuropeCollaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely information flow in both directionsDrive harmonization of European Accounting Processes Drive efficient GAAP to STAT process for Europe Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should bring along:A university degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent; additional Accounting or Tax qualification would be advantageousProfessional experience in a BIG 10 Audit Firm or equivalent roleStrong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting rules, demonstrated both in theory and practice.International and diverse environment experience Work experience in matrix organization with internal controlsMS Office Package, excellent Excel skillsSAP and Blackline experience would be advantageous You have:Independent and hands-on work approachProven collaboration skillsProactive communicationDemonstrated ability to identify and resolve issuesFlexibility to work on multiple accounting topicsProject and change management skills are an advantageSelf-development interestProficient English Language Skills (written and spoken); Travel:A valid passport will be required;This position requires occasional travel abroad for activities such as meetings and training.In return, you will receive competitive pay and benefits you would expect from a Global Leading Business.We're actively building diverse teams and welcome applications from everyone.
